| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3637 on page 14, |
| 3 | | immediately below line 17, by inserting the following:

| 4 | | "(e) A school district shall have 2 years from the date the |
| 5 | | school district was issued a conditional grant award from the |
| 6 | | Capital Development Board to obtain the school district's |
| 7 | | required local match and receive a final grant award from the |
| 8 | | Capital Development Board. If the required local match is not |
| 9 | | obtained within the 2-year time frame, the school district |
| 10 | | shall be required to reapply in another application cycle, |
| 11 | | after the 2-year time frame, to be considered for a grant |
| 12 | | award. The State share of the grant amount in a conditional |
| 13 | | grant award that is not claimed by a school district within the |
| 14 | | 2-year time frame shall be reallocated to future application |
| 15 | | cycles after the 2-year time frame expires.".
