| 1 | | AN ACT concerning criminal law.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Unified Code of Corrections is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 3-2-4 as follows:

| 6 | | (730 ILCS 5/3-2-4) (from Ch. 38, par. 1003-2-4)

| 7 | | Sec. 3-2-4. Governor to visit; members of the General |
| 8 | | Assembly may visit Visit.

| 9 | | (a) The Governor shall visit the institutions, facilities, |
| 10 | | and programs of
the Department as often as the Governor he |
| 11 | | deems fit, for the purpose of enquiring examining into
the |
| 12 | | affairs and conditions of the Department. |
| 13 | | (b) A member of the General Assembly may visit the |
| 14 | | institutions, facilities, and programs of
the Department, upon |
| 15 | | the request of the member, for the purpose of enquiring into
|
| 16 | | the affairs and conditions of the Department.
