Amends the Children and Family Services Act. | 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Children and Family Services Act is amended |
| 5 | | by adding Section 5.21 as follows: |
| 6 | | (20 ILCS 505/5.21 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 5.21. Child care services for parenting youth in |
| 8 | | foster care. The Department of Children and Family Services |
| 9 | | and the Department of Human Services shall jointly develop and |
| 10 | | administer a program that provides free and accessible child |
| 11 | | care services to parenting youth in foster care. The |
| 12 | | Departments may adopt any rules necessary to implement the |
| 13 | | program.
