AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4267 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4267 on page 2, 
3immediately below line 3, by inserting the following:
4        "(5) The applicant participated in a pre-employment 
5    program prepared by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training 
6    Standards Board."; and 


 
7on page 3, lines 8 through 10,  by deleting "The repayment 
8amount may be prorated according to the fraction of the law 
9enforcement service obligation not completed by the grant 
10recipient."; and
 
11on page 3, line 17, after the period, by inserting "Priority 
12shall be given to applicants from economically disadvantaged 
13communities."; and
 
14on page 3, immediately below line 17, by inserting the

1    "(g) Each fiscal year, 2% of the amount transferred to the 
2General Revenue Fund under subparagraph (F) of paragraph (3) 
3of subsection (c) of the Cannabis Regulation Fund shall be 
4appropriated to the Commission for the purpose of awarding 
5grants under this Section."; and
 
6On page 3, line 18, by replacing "(g)" with " (h)".
