| 2 | | (1) may comply with this Section by posting the |
| 3 | | required information on the website of the establishment's |
| 4 | | parent company if the establishment does not maintain a |
| 5 | | unique website; and |
| 6 | | (2) is not required to comply with this Section if the |
| 7 | | establishment and any parent company do not maintain a |
| 8 | | website. |
| 9 | | Section 10. The Life Care Facilities Act is amended by |
| 10 | | adding Section 10.2 as follows: |
| 11 | | (210 ILCS 40/10.2 new) |
| 12 | | Sec. 10.2. Posting of Long Term Care Ombudsman Program |
| 13 | | information. |
| 14 | | (a) Except as provided under subsection (b), all licensed |
| 15 | | facilities shall post prominently on the home page of the |
| 16 | | facility's website information about the Department on Aging's |
| 17 | | Long Term Care Ombudsman Program, including: |
| 18 | | (1) information regarding the Program's role as an |
| 19 | | advocate for residents of long-term care facilities; and |
| 20 | | (2) the Program's statewide toll-free telephone |
| 21 | | number. |
| 22 | | (b) A facility: |
| 23 | | (1) may comply with this Section by posting the |
| 24 | | required information on the website of the facility's |
