| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Use of Intoxicating Compounds Act is |
| 5 | | amended by changing Section 1 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (720 ILCS 690/1) (from Ch. 38, par. 81-1)

| 7 | | Sec. 1. Use prohibited. No person shall ingest, breathe, |
| 8 | | inhale or
drink any compound, liquid, or
chemical containing |
| 9 | | toluol, hexane, trichloroethylene, acetone, toluene,
ethyl |
| 10 | | acetate, methyl ethyl ketone, trichloroethane,
isopropanol, |
| 11 | | methyl isobutyl ketone, methyl cellosolve acetate, |
| 12 | | cyclohexanone,
the
the alkaloids atropine, hyoscyamine, or |
| 13 | | scopolamine, or any other substance
for the purpose of |
| 14 | | inducing a condition of intoxication,
stupefaction, |
| 15 | | depression, giddiness, paralysis or irrational behavior, or in
|
| 16 | | any manner changing, distorting or disturbing the auditory, |
| 17 | | visual or mental
processes. For the purposes of this Act, any |
| 18 | | such condition so induced shall be
deemed to be an intoxicated |
| 19 | | condition. |
