| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5016 as follows:

| 3 | | on page 2, immediately below line 16, by inserting the |
| 4 | | following: |
| 5 | | "The Department of Corrections educators and security |
| 6 | | staff shall be involved in assisting and supervising students |
| 7 | | participating in the pilot program. The Department of |
| 8 | | Corrections shall negotiate with all bargaining units involved |
| 9 | | to ensure that the implementation of the pilot program is |
| 10 | | consistent with collective bargaining agreements."; and

| 11 | | on page 2, immediately below line 22, by inserting the |
| 12 | | following: |
| 13 | | "The establishment of the pilot program described in this |
| 14 | | Section is contingent upon there being provided to the |
| 15 | | Department of Corrections sufficient appropriations to |
| 16 | | implement and administer the program.".
