AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5277 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5277 as follows:
 
3on page 12, line 22, after "courses", by inserting "or any 
4course designated as enriched or honors"; and


 
5on page 26, by replacing lines 9 through line 12 with the 
6following:
7        "(3) the use of universal screening combined with 
8    local school-based norms for placement in accelerated and 
9    advanced learning programs;"; and
 
10on page 26, line 13, by replacing "(5)" with "(4)"; and
 
11on page 26, line 19, by replacing "(6)" with "(5)"; and
 
12on page 40, immediately below line 9, by inserting the 
13following:

2children, as defined in Section 14A-20 of this Code and
