AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5295




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5295 as follows:


 
3on page 3, line 12, after "Diseases Act", by inserting "as a 
4result of the policeman's secondary employment"; and
 
5on page 3, line 21, after the period, by inserting "The 
6calculation of compensation received by the policeman as 
7provided in this Section shall not take into consideration any 
8benefits received under the Line of Duty Compensation Act."; 
9and
 
10on page 3, line 25, after "Act", by inserting "as a result of 
11the policeman's secondary employment"; and
 
12on page 4, line 9, after the period, by inserting "The 
13calculation of compensation received by the widow, child or 
14children, or parent or parents of a policeman, or any of these

1persons, as provided in this Section shall not take into 
2consideration any benefits received under the Line of Duty 
3Compensation Act or the Public Safety Officers Benefits Act of 
41976, 34 U.S.C. 10281 et seq.".
