| 1 | | AN ACT concerning transportation.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the |
| 5 | | Milwaukee Avenue Polish Heritage Corridor Act.
|
| 6 | | Section 5. Milwaukee Avenue Polish Heritage Corridor. That |
| 7 | | part of Illinois Route 21, otherwise known as Milwaukee |
| 8 | | Avenue, that begins at Sangamon Street in Chicago and ends |
| 9 | | with Greenwood Road in the Village of Niles is designated as |
| 10 | | the Milwaukee Avenue Polish Heritage Corridor. Appropriate |
| 11 | | plaques may be erected by the Department of Transportation |
| 12 | | along this route in recognition of the designation.
