HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The public health  workers of the McLean County 
3Public Health Department have worked tirelessly and with 
4dedication on the front lines of public health, serving the 
5citizens of McLean County; and
  
 

  
6    WHEREAS, Our nation is experiencing one of the worst 
7pandemics as a result of the Covid-19 virus,  and the workers of 
8the McLean County Public Health Department are  helping build a 
9stronger and healthier McLean County; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, These public health workers who provide services, 
11including immunizations, emergency preparedness, clinics, 
12environmental health, behavioral health, dental care, WIC, and 
13information, have had to swiftly adapt to changing needs with 
14their response to Covid-19; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, These public health workers serving McLean County 
16are helping county residents connect to services and programs 
17and  receive the critical information, guidance, mitigation 
18measures, precautions, and tracing that are vital to reduce 
19the spread of the virus; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
21HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that

1we commend the public health workers of the McLean County 
2Public Health Department for their tireless efforts during the 
3Covid-19 pandemic; and be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to the McLean County Public Health Department as a 
6symbol of our respect and esteem.
