HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Inez 
4Anderson-Washington who passed away on February 19, 2021; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Inez Anderson-Washington was born to James and 
6Lula Anderson in Coater, Missouri on April 28, 1929; she later 
7moved to Arkansas, where she went to grammar school, and then 
8moved to Marshall, Missouri, where she attended Banner High 
9School; she married  Robert Clark Washington, and the couple 
10eventually moved to Chicago; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Inez Anderson-Washington worked at ABC Foods in 
12Chicago for 19 years and Bethel Life for nine years; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, After retiring, Inez Anderson-Washington 
14volunteered at an early childhood development program in 
15Maywood; she loved her family and was always willing to lend a 
16hand, no matter the task; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Inez Anderson-Washington was preceded in death by 
18her three children, Donald Clark, Charles Edwards, and 
19Loualice; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Inez Anderson-Washington is survived by her two

1daughters, Princella, and Darlene; her 13 grandchildren; her 
223 great-grandchildren; her 8 great-great-grandchildren; her 
3nieces and nephews; and her friends; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
5HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
6we mourn the passing of Inez Anderson-Washington and extend 
7our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who 
8knew and loved her; and be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Inez Anderson-Washington as an 
11expression of our deepest sympathy.
