| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Nick Vogt on the occasion |
| 4 | | of one of his students being named a 2020 Student Art |
| 5 | | Ambassador by the Illinois Art Education Association (IAEA); |
| 6 | | and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Nick Vogt's student, Kimberly Fitzsimmons, was |
| 8 | | named one of 44 student art ambassadors featured in the 2020 |
| 9 | | IAEA State-wide Student Art Show, which is a juried art show |
| 10 | | that represents Illinois' K-12th grade art curriculum and |
| 11 | | showcases as many different art teachers and their students as |
| 12 | | possible to exemplify best practices throughout the State; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Nick Vogt has been teaching art at Pontiac |
| 14 | | Township High School for 13 years; he also serves as the |
| 15 | | faculty adviser of the art club and as coach of the boys and |
| 16 | | girls tennis teams; therefore, be it
|
| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
| 18 | | HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 19 | | we congratulate Nick Vogt on his exemplary teaching being |
| 20 | | showcased by the Illinois Art Education Association and thank |
| 21 | | him for his dedication to the students of Pontiac Township |
| 22 | | High School; and be it further
