HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are equally honored and grateful for the 
4opportunity to recognize significant events in the lives of 
5Illinois residents and their contributions to the State; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
7Representatives wish to congratulate Daniel Coglianese on his 
8retirement on July 1, 2021; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Daniel Coglianese has served the residents of 
10Proviso Township as Treasurer of the Proviso Township School 
11District for over 35 years, beginning on March 1, 1986; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Through his leadership and expertise, Daniel 
13Coglianese has managed to guide the treasurer's office through 
14the many changes in Illinois' education policies over the last 
15four decades and, most recently, through the upgrade of the 
16township's accounting system; and
  
 
  
17    WHEREAS, In this unprecedented time of the COVID-19 
18pandemic, which has had a negative impact on schools 
19throughout the State, Daniel Coglianese has continuously 
20strived to optimize the financial health of the schools in 
21Proviso Township; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
2HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we recognize Daniel Coglianese for his service to the 
4residents of Proviso Township and to the State of Illinois; 
5and be it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That we congratulate Daniel Coglianese on his 
7decades of accomplishments and on his impending retirement 
8this summer, and we wish him the best of luck in all his future 
9endeavors; and be it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to Daniel Coglianese as an expression of our esteem 
12and respect.
