HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to recognize the Gladstone Park Chamber 
4of Commerce and its dedicated members on the occasion of its 
530th anniversary; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, The Gladstone Park Chamber of Commerce has been a 
7major local advocate for the  community's economic prosperity, 
8consistently leading efforts to enhance the quality of living 
9and working in the Gladstone Park area; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, The Gladstone Park Chamber of Commerce has helped 
11lead the community through an evolving economic landscape, 
12serving as a bridge that unifies businesses, organizations, 
13and residents; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, The Gladstone Park Chamber of Commerce hosts 
15numerous business luncheons, informative seminars, and other 
16community events each year to help local business owners 
17network and develop their businesses; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, As part of its efforts to give back and support 
19local students, the Gladstone Park Chamber of Commerce 
20annually awards scholarships to 8th graders and high school 
21seniors; and

1    WHEREAS, The Gladstone Park Chamber of Commerce continues 
2to succeed due to the innovative spirit and supportive nature 
3of its active and dedicated membership; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
5HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
6we congratulate the Gladstone Park Chamber of Commerce on its 
730th anniversary, and we thank its members  for their work in 
8the community and wish them many more successful years; and be 
9it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to the Gladstone Park Chamber of Commerce as an 
12expression of our esteem and respect.
