| 5 | | WHEREAS, The Bronzeville Winery is a Black-owned |
| 6 | | restaurant, wine bar, and cultural space located in a new |
| 7 | | building development on the 4400 block of South Cottage Grove |
| 8 | | Avenue; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, The Bronzeville Winery is headed by businesswoman |
| 10 | | Cecilia Cuff and Bronzeville resident Eric Williams, who is |
| 11 | | also the founder of the artist space, gallery, and event |
| 12 | | location Silver Room in Hyde Park and the creator behind the |
| 13 | | restaurant, juice bar, and magazine shop Square One in Wicker |
| 14 | | Park; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, The Bronzeville Winery will include a full wine |
| 16 | | list with an on-site sommelier, comfort food made from |
| 17 | | house-grown greens and farm share-supplied produce, a custom |
| 18 | | sound system and stage for eclectic musicians and DJs, a |
| 19 | | rotating gallery for local artists, indoor seating for 110 |
| 20 | | guests, and outdoor seating for about 70 guests; and

| 21 | | WHEREAS, The Bronzeville Winery plans to offer workers |
