| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the deaths of |
| 4 | | brothers Eric D'Wayne Bailey and Zamion Patrick Tre'Michael |
| 5 | | Bailey of Peoria, who passed away on June 2, 2021; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Eric Bailey was born on September 26, 1993, and |
| 7 | | Zamion Bailey was born on July 29, 1998; they were both born in |
| 8 | | Peoria to Patsy Ann Jackson and Eric Delane Bailey; they were |
| 9 | | educated in the Memphis City Schools in Memphis, Tennessee; |
| 10 | | Eric honorably served in the U.S. Marine Corp for two years; |
| 11 | | and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Eric Bailey worked at Jordan Aluminum in Memphis, |
| 13 | | Tennessee before returning to Peoria; Zamion Bailey worked at |
| 14 | | William Sonoma as a warehouse associate in Olive Branch, |
| 15 | | Mississippi before moving back to Peoria; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Eric Bailey, an Indianapolis Colts fan, and |
| 17 | | Zamion Bailey, an Atlanta Falcons fan, were kind and loving |
| 18 | | young men who would do anything for their family; the two were |
| 19 | | inseparable; both were the jokesters of the family and loved |
| 20 | | playing video games and basketball; and
|
| 21 | | WHEREAS, Eric and Zamion Bailey were preceded in death by |
|

| 1 | | their grandfather, Clyde McLeod, and their uncles, Michael |
| 2 | | Jackson, Lewis Bailey, William Bailey, Gayland Bailey, and |
| 3 | | Rodrico McLeod; and

| 4 | | WHEREAS, Eric and Zamion Bailey are survived by their |
| 5 | | parents, Patsy A. Jackson and Eric Bailey; their maternal |
| 6 | | grandparents, Annie Jackson and Isaac Strong; their paternal |
| 7 | | grandmother, Zola McLeod-Bailey; their brothers, Reuben |
| 8 | | Winters, Corey Fleming, and Jacoby Russell; their sisters, |
| 9 | | RoShaunte Jones, Keaira Russell, Shajuane Winters, and Cierra |
| 10 | | Jackson; their aunts, Linda (Omeretires) Barnes, Arleatha |
| 11 | | Jackson, Cynthia Jackson, Bertha Tolliver, Sandra Bailey, and |
| 12 | | Sheila (Robert) Bryant; their uncle, Patrick Jackson; their |
| 13 | | godmother, Christina Giles; their god-grandmother, Elizabeth |
