HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Gregory Wilson on being 
4elected president of the Peoria Public School Board of 
5Education; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Gregory Wilson joined the Board of Education in 
72017 and is excited by and grateful for the support of his 
8fellow board members; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, The father of five children, three of whom are 
10Peoria public school students, Gregory Wilson is motivated by 
11the desire to take care of all students in his  district and 
12make sure they all have the tools to be successful; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, One of Gregory Wilson's major goals is to broaden 
14communication between the board and students and their 
15families; he also wants to ensure the board is constantly 
16reimagining education and bringing innovative things to the 
17district; therefore, be it
  
 

  
18    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
19HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
20we congratulate Gregory Wilson on being elected president of 
21the Peoria Public School Board of Education, and we wish him

2    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
