HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Donald Schaefer on the 
4occasion of his retirement from the Twentieth Judicial Circuit 
5Court Services and Probation Department after 34 years of 
6service; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Donald Schaefer served from October 1, 1986 to 
8August 14, 2020; he held the positions of Correction Officer 
9at the Juvenile Detention Center, Probation Officer, 
10Supervisor of Probation, and Superintendent of the Detention 
11Center; and
  
 

  
12    WHEREAS, Donald Schaefer has been married to Shelly for 32 
13years; they have two children, Brianne and Brooke; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Donald Schaefer enjoys golfing, bowling, and 
15spending time with his lifelong friends; therefore, be it
  
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
17HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
18we congratulate Donald Schaefer on his retirement from the 
19Twentieth Judicial Circuit Court Services and Probation 
20Department after 34 years of service; and be it further
