HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Sue Litterly on her 
4retirement from the United States Postal Service; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Sue Litterly began her career with the United 
6States Postal Service in August of 1990; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Rising through the ranks with increasing 
8responsibility, Sue Litterly was named customer relations 
9coordinator for the Springfield post office, Central Illinois, 
10and Gateway Districts; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Sue Litterly also worked as a media relations 
12liaison for the 618, 619, 625, 626, and 627 ZIP Code areas; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Sue Litterly's responsibilities included 
14marketing incentives, new product rollout, special community 
15projects, human resources, customer concern resolutions with 
16both congressional aides and the general public, and media 
17relations; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Sue Litterly retired on September 30, 2021 with 
19over 31 years of service; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
2HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we congratulate Sue Litterly on her retirement from the United 
4States Postal Service; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to Sue Litterly as a symbol of our respect and 
7esteem.
