| 4 | | Van Norman of Peoria, who passed away on October 5, 2021; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Mary Van Norman was born to Donald E. and Lucille |
| 6 | | (Dunne) Rogy in Peoria on May 11, 1944; she graduated from the |
| 7 | | Academy of Our Lady in 1962 and remained close with a group of |
| 8 | | friends who continued getting together to attend Mass or |
| 9 | | celebrate birthdays for over 60 years; she married Dick Van |
| 10 | | Norman on September 28, 1963; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Mary Norman started Kidsmobile Child |
| 12 | | Transportation Service before opening Mary's Little Lambs |
| 13 | | In-Home Daycare, which she lovingly operated for 22 years; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Mary Van Norman was a member of St. Thomas the |
| 15 | | Apostle Catholic Church in Peoria Heights; she was also a |
| 16 | | longtime season ticket holder of Bradley University's Men's |
| 17 | | Basketball and a member of the Braves Club; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Mary Norman was an active and supportive mother |
| 19 | | and was very close with her children;
she was an avid gardener |
| 20 | | and was known for her delicious baking talents, especially her |
| 21 | | pies and pumpkin bread; and
