| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Atlanta Braves Manager |
| 4 | | and Illinois native Brian Snitker on guiding his team to the |
| 5 | | 2021 World Series Championship; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Brian Snitker was born in Decatur on October 17, |
| 7 | | 1955; he grew up in Macon, where he attended Macon High School |
| 8 | | and played right field for their baseball team; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Brain Snitker became manager of the Atlanta |
| 10 | | Braves in 2016; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Brian Snitker was named the National League |
| 12 | | Manager of the Year for the 2018 season; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Brain Snitker and the Atlanta Braves secured |
| 14 | | their first World Series title in 26 years by defeating the |
| 15 | | Houston Astros 7 to 0 on November 2, 2021; therefore, be it
|
| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
| 17 | | HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 18 | | we congratulate Brian Snitker on guiding his team to the 2021 |
| 19 | | World Series Championship, and we wish him many more |
