| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Roger |
| 4 | | "Lynn" Dameron of Fairbury, who passed away on October 27, |
| 5 | | 2021; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Lynn Dameron was a Fairbury native who was raised |
| 7 | | in Fairbury and graduated from Fairbury-Cropsey High School; |
| 8 | | and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Lynn Dameron fell in love with and married his |
| 10 | | high school sweetheart, the love of his life, Judith Ann |
| 11 | | Ahring, on December 17, 1966 in Fairbury; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Lynn Dameron and his wife raised two children, |
| 13 | | Heather and Chris, in Fairbury; he was an integral part of |
| 14 | | Fairbury's business community as owner and operator of Dameron |
| 15 | | Plumbing and Indian Creek Realty; and |
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Lynn Dameron loved his community; he was devoted |
| 17 | | to Fairbury and to making sure it continues to be a wonderful |
| 18 | | place to live, work, and raise a family; he served first with |
| 19 | | the Fairbury Jaycees and then in city government; he was an |
| 20 | | alderman for 14 years and the mayor for 12 years; he was |
| 21 | | instrumental in securing the funds for the new city hall |
