HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate the Lincoln Community 
4High School dance team, the Railettes, on winning the 2022 
5Illinois Drill Team Association Class AA Pom Dance State 
6Championship; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, The Railettes joined over 100 other junior high, 
8junior varsity, and varsity teams in a 12-hour competition on 
9February 12, 2022, finishing in first place in their division; 
10and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, The Railettes are led by Coaches Jean 
12Meinershagen and Brianna Lanning; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, The Railettes team members are Captains Lydia 
14Roland and Rachel Morrow, Claire Duffer, Julia Guzzardo, 
15Makayla Koehne, Brynley Laubenstein, and Elly Martinez; 
16therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
18HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
19we congratulate the Lincoln Community High School dance team, 
20the Railettes, on winning the 2022 Illinois Drill Team 
21Association Class AA Pom Dance State Championship, and we

1commend their hard work, dedication, and team spirit; and be

3    RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be 
4presented to Coach Jean Meinershagen, Coach Brianna Lanning, 
5and Lincoln Community High School Principal Todd Poelker as a 
6symbol of our respect and esteem.
