HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate the Quincy Notre Dame 
4High School girls basketball team, the Lady Raiders, on 
5winning the 2022 Illinois High School Association Class 2A 
6Championship; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, The Lady Raiders defeated Winnebago High School 
8in the championship game by a score of 63 to 56 on March 5, 
92022 in Normal; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, The Lady Raiders compiled a season record of 30 
11wins and three losses on their way to becoming champions; and
  
 

  
12    WHEREAS, The Lady Raiders will return four starters from 
13their state championship team next season as they defend their 
14title; therefore, be it
  
 
15    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
16HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
17we congratulate the Quincy Notre Dame High School girls 
18basketball team, the Lady Raiders, on winning the 2022 
19Illinois High School Association Class 2A Championship, and we 
20wish them many more successful seasons; and be it further
