| 2 | | WHEREAS, Dedicated law enforcement civilian personnel, |
| 3 | | including community service officers and records staff, serve |
| 4 | | the citizens of Illinois to provide them with vital services; |
| 5 | | and

| 6 | | WHEREAS, Law enforcement civilian personnel are crucial to |
| 7 | | assisting law enforcement in providing the best public safety |
| 8 | | services; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, The efficiency of the qualified and dedicated |
| 10 | | personnel who staff civilian law enforcement positions are |
| 11 | | substantially influenced by people's attitudes and |
| 12 | | understandings of the importance of the work they perform; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Law enforcement civilian personnel serving the |
| 14 | | State of Illinois have exhibited professionalism, efficiency, |
| 15 | | and compassion during the performance of their essential |
| 16 | | duties over the past year; therefore, be it
|
| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
| 18 | | HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 19 | | we declare the time period between November 7, 2022 and |
| 20 | | November 11, 2022 as "Law Enforcement Civilian Personnel Week" |
| 21 | | in the State of Illinois.
