| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Ja'lon |
| 4 | | James of Chicago, who passed away on June 16, 2022; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Ja'lon James had recently completed fifth grade |
| 6 | | at Herzl Elementary School, where he was noted for his passion |
| 7 | | for learning; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Ja'lon James was an energetic and warm-hearted |
| 9 | | child; he loved video games, making his brothers laugh, and |
| 10 | | exercising; he enjoyed playing tag, practicing his boxing |
| 11 | | skills, tending to the garden, and spraying his siblings with |
| 12 | | the water hose; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Ja'lon James is survived by his mother, Naquita |
| 14 | | Harrison; his twin brother, Ja'len James; his five other |
| 15 | | siblings; and his grandmother, Nicole Harrison; therefore, be |
| 16 | | it

| 17 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
