HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of 
4Elizabeth Grace "Lily" Shambrook of Chicago, who passed away 
5on June 9, 2022; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Lily Shambrook was born to Tim Shambrook and Kate 
7Snow on May 29, 2019; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Lily Shambrook attended school at Tiny Giants, 
9swimming classes at Welles Park, and camp at St. Chrysostom's 
10Day School; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Lily Shambrook loved the Chicago lakefront and 
12shoreline, daily walks, and nature; she will be remembered for 
13her inquisitive mind, joyful spirit, grit, and grace; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Lily Shambrook was affectionately known as "Lily" 
15and "Lily Grace" by her family; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Lily Shambrook was preceded in death by  her 
17uncle, Luke Schneider; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Lily Shambrook is survived by her grandparents, 
19Paul "Da" and Judy "Gram" Snow and Bill "Granddad" and Judy

1"Nana" Shambrook; her great-uncles and great-aunts, Rick 
2(Jane) Schneider, John (Margaret) Snow, and Tom (Mary) Snow; 
3her uncles and aunts, Healy (Beth) Snow, Sean (Adrienne) 
4Shambrook, Andrew (Rozie) Shambrook, Annie Snow, Nick Snow, 
5Arthur "Artie" Snow, Matthew (Adrianna) Schneider, Willie 
6Schneider, and Bridget Schneider; her cousins, Claire 
7Shambrook, Church Shambrook, Paxon Snow, Quinn Snow, and 
8Easton Schneider; and her dear friends, "Aunt" Brittany, 
9"Uncle" Mike, and Miles; therefore, be it
  
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
11HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
12we mourn the passing of
Elizabeth Grace "Lily" Shambrook and 
13extend our sincere
condolences to her family, friends, and all 
14who knew and loved
her; and be it further
  
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

16presented to the family of Lily Shambrook as an expression of

17our deepest sympathy.
