| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Raphael |
| 4 | | "Rafi" Cardenas of Chicago, who passed away on June 2, 2022; |
| 5 | | and

| 6 | | WHEREAS, Rafi Cardenas was born to Marina Ross and Henry |
| 7 | | Cardenas on December 7, 2019; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Rafi Cardenas is survived by his parents; his |
| 9 | | grandparents, Diana Balzak, Darren Ross, Victorino Cardenas, |
| 10 | | and Ruth Leticia Vazquez; his aunt, Sonia Balzak; and his |
| 11 | | extended family and friends; therefore, be it
|
| 12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
| 13 | | HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 14 | | we mourn the passing of
Raphael "Rafi" Cardenas and extend our |

condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew |
