| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate the Community Health | ||||||
| 4 | Partnership (CHP) of Illinois on the occasion of the grand | ||||||
| 5 | opening of the CHP Aurora Health Center; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, The mission of CHP of Illinois is to expand on the | ||||||
| 7 | delivery of quality, culturally responsive health care | ||||||
| 8 | services for its patients, caregivers, and partners in the | ||||||
| 9 | communities it serves; the organization empowers all, | ||||||
| 10 | including migrant seasonal agricultural workers and their | ||||||
| 11 | families, to enjoy maximum well-being, regardless of ability | ||||||
| 12 | to pay; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, CHP of Illinois has been serving migrant seasonal | ||||||
| 14 | farmworkers and their families, the underserved, and the | ||||||
| 15 | uninsured in rural Illinois for more than 50 years; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, As primary health care is much needed in these | ||||||
| 17 | rural communities, CHP of Illinois serves as a safety net | ||||||
| 18 | organization for the most vulnerable; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, CHP of Illinois provides valuable services to | ||||||
| 20 | bridge and close the gap of care, which has been recognized by | ||||||
| 21 | leaders of business, industry, and rural communities; and
| ||||||

| 1 | WHEREAS, CHP of Illinois serves all life cycles and | ||||||
| 2 | prepares students and their families with much needed | ||||||
| 3 | preventative health services at its physical locations and | ||||||
| 4 | from its mobile medical units, with integrated programs of | ||||||
| 5 | care that link to and lead to the attainment of better health | ||||||
| 6 | outcomes; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, The CHP of Illinois health programs ensure that | ||||||
| 8 | employers have access to a qualified and thriving workforce, | ||||||
| 9 | ensuring the State of Illinois has a strong and healthy | ||||||
| 10 | economy; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, As part of its Community Health Center Week, CHP | ||||||
| 12 | of Illinois will host the grand opening of the CHP Aurora | ||||||
| 13 | Health Center on August 10, 2022, which has been renovated | ||||||
| 14 | with new patient rooms and added services for the benefit of | ||||||
| 15 | the whole community; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 16 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 17 | HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 18 | we congratulate Community Health Partnership of Illinois on | ||||||
| 19 | the grand opening of the CHP Aurora Health Center and wish the | ||||||
| 20 | organization continued success; and be it further
| ||||||
| 21 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
