HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Jordan VanKooten on 
4representing the State of Illinois at the 2022 Special 
5Olympics USA Games; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Jordan VanKooten won Gold Medals in the 100 meter 
7walk and 400 meter walk events; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Jordan VanKooten also earned a fifth place finish 
9in the javelin event; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Jordan VanKooten has been a fierce competitor at 
11the Special Olympics for 11 years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Jordan VanKooten is a resident of the Village of 
13Chatham and an alum of Glenwood High School, and his hometown 
14is proud of all of his achievements; therefore, be it

  
 
15    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
16HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
17we congratulate Jordan VanKooten on representing the State of 
18Illinois at the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games; and be it
