HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Zack Hawkinson on the 
4occasion of his scoring 1,000 points during his basketball 
5career at Sacred Heart-Griffin (SHG) High School; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Zack Hawkinson has been a dominant force in the 
7game of basketball, standing at an impressive height of 6 foot 
86 inches and weighing  210 pounds, beating the national 
9averages in points per game, assists per game, rebounds per 
10game, steals per game, and blocks per game; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Zack Hawkinson was never a junior varsity player, 
12displaying his skills at the highest level of high school 
13basketball for all four years of his career, which is no easy 
14feat; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Zack Hawkinson's natural talents were only 
16enhanced by the camaraderie of his teammates and the wisdom of 
17his coaches, leading him to develop into an undeniable key 
18player of the SHG High School basketball program; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Zack Hawkinson brought pride to number 21, his 
20jersey number; and

1    WHEREAS, Zack Hawkinson will surely be successful in all 
2of his future endeavors, whether they be related to the sport 
3of basketball or not; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
5HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
6we congratulate Zack Hawkinson of Sacred Heart-Griffin High 
7School for his accomplishments on the basketball court, and we 
8commend him for his hard work and dedication to the sport; and 
9be it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to Zack Hawkinson as an expression of our esteem and 
12respect.
