| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 50 by replacing |
| 3 | | lines 11 through 17 on page 3 with the following: |
| 4 | | "commercial natural gas cooperative: (i) must be located in a |
| 5 | | county that has a population of not more than 300,000 people |
| 6 | | and that borders the Mississippi River or is contiguous to any |
| 7 | | such county and has a population of between 10,000 and 50,000 |
| 8 | | people; (ii) shall not have public utility-owned natural gas |
| 9 | | transportation pipeline located within such properties at the |
| 10 | | time of commencement of service; (iii) shall comprise not less |
| 11 | | than 500 acres and not more than 2,500 acres, which territory |
| 12 | | does not need to be contiguous; and (iv) must be used |
| 13 | | exclusively for non-residential".
