| 1 | | AN ACT concerning health.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 1. Short title. This Act may be referred to as |
| 5 | | Hayli's Law.
|
| 6 | | Section 5. The Food Handling Regulation Enforcement Act is |
| 7 | | amended by adding Section 3.9 as follows:
|
| 8 | | (410 ILCS 625/3.9 new) |
| 9 | | Sec. 3.9. Lemonade stand. Notwithstanding any other |
| 10 | | provision of law, the Department of Public Health, the health |
| 11 | | department of a unit of local government, or a public health |
| 12 | | district may not regulate the sale of lemonade or nonalcoholic |
| 13 | | drinks or mixed beverages by a person under the age of 16.

| 14 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect January |
| 15 | | 1, 2022.
