| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Managed Care Reform and Patient Rights Act |
| 5 | | is amended by changing Section 100 as follows:

| 6 | | (215 ILCS 134/100)
|
| 7 | | Sec. 100. Prohibition of waiver of rights. No health care |
| 8 | | plan or
contract shall contain any provision, policy, or
|
| 9 | | procedure that
that limits, restricts, or waives any of the |
| 10 | | rights set forth in this
Act. Any such policy or procedure |
| 11 | | shall be void and unenforceable. |
