| 1 | | AN ACT concerning civil law.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Park Commissioners Land Sale Act is amended |
| 5 | | by adding Section 15 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (70 ILCS 1235/15 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 15. Sale of Bensenville Park District land. |
| 8 | | (a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the |
| 9 | | Bensenville Park District may sell up to 125 acres of the White |
| 10 | | Pines Golf Course owned by the District if: |
| 11 | | (i) the board of commissioners of the Bensenville Park |
| 12 | | District authorizes the sale by a four-fifths vote of the |
| 13 | | commissioners in office at the time of the vote; and |
| 14 | | (ii) the sale price equals or exceeds the average of 3 |
| 15 | | independent appraisals commissioned by the Bensenville |
| 16 | | Park District. |
| 17 | | (b) This Section is repealed on January 1, 2023.

| 18 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 19 | | becoming law. |
