AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 740 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 740 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 
4    "Section 5. The Park Commissioners Land Sale Act is 
5amended  by adding Section 15 as follows:
 
6    (70 ILCS 1235/15 new)
7    Sec. 15. Sale of Bensenville Park District land.
8    (a)    Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the 
9Bensenville Park District may sell up to 125 acres of the White 
10Pines Golf Course owned by the District if:
11        (i)  the board of commissioners of the Bensenville Park 
12    District authorizes the sale by  a four-fifths vote of the 
13    commissioners in office at the time of the vote; and
14        (ii)  the sale price equals or exceeds the average of 3 
15    independent appraisals commissioned by the Bensenville 
16    Park District.

1    (b) This Section is repealed on January 1, 2023.

 
2    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
3becoming law.".
