| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |

| 4 | | Section 5. The Autism and Co-Occurring Medical Conditions |
| 5 | | Awareness Act is amended by changing Section 35 as follows:

| 7 | | (Section scheduled to be repealed on August 12, 2021)

| 8 | | Sec. 35. Repeal. In order to consider the most innovative |
| 9 | | medical study and research involving autism and co-occurring |
| 10 | | medical conditions, this Act is repealed on January 1, 2027 5 |
| 11 | | years after the effective date of this Act.
