AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1655 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1655 on page 15, 
3immediately below line 14, by inserting the following:


 
4    "Section 30. The Eminent Domain Act is amended by adding 
5Section 25-5-80 as follows:
 
6    (735 ILCS 30/25-5-80 new)
7    Sec. 25-5-80. Quick-take; City of Decatur; Brush College 
8Road.
9    (a) Quick-take proceedings under Article 20 may be used 
10for a period of one year after the effective date of this 
11amendatory Act of the 102nd General Assembly by the City of 
12Decatur and Macon County for the acquisition of the following 
13described property for the purpose of obtaining the necessary 
14right-of-way for the construction of a grade separation of 
15Brush College Road over Faries Parkway and the Norfolk 
16Southern Railroad in Decatur, Illinois.
