| 1 | | AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1779

| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1779 on page 1, |
| 3 | | line 10, by replacing "home" with "home, as defined in the |
| 4 | | Mobile Home Park Act"; and

| 5 | | on page 1, line 15, by deleting "and"; and
|
| 6 | | on page 1, by replacing line 16 with the following:

| 7 | | "(4) that, depending on where the consumer affixes the |
| 8 | | manufactured home (be it property owned by the consumer or |
| 9 | | on certain types of leased land), the manufactured home |
| 10 | | may qualify as real property under the Conveyance and |
| 11 | | Encumbrance of Manufactured Homes as Real Property and |
| 12 | | Severance Act; and |
| 13 | | (5) any other reason that prohibits refinancing.".
