1    AN ACT concerning State government.
  
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
 
3represented in the General Assembly:
  
 
 
4    Section 5. The Mental Health and Developmental 
5Disabilities Administrative Act is amended  by adding Section 
618.8 as follows:
 
7    (20 ILCS 1705/18.8 new)
8    Sec. 18.8. Post-secondary mental health database and 
9resource page. Subject to appropriation, the Department shall 
10create and maintain an online database and resource page on 
11its website. The database and resource page shall contain 
12mental health resources specifically geared toward 
13post-secondary social workers, counselors, parents, faculty, 
14graduate assistants, school administrators, graduate and 
15undergraduate students, and support personnel with the goal of 
16connecting those people with mental health resources related 
17to crisis services, wellness, sexual health, survivor support, 
18gender-based violence, nutrition, stress reduction, anxiety, 
19depression, violence prevention, suicide prevention, and 
20substance use and encouraging information sharing among 
21educational administrators, security personnel, resource 
22officers, faculty, students, and all other employees of a 
23university or college. Nothing in this Section shall be

1construed to authorize or permit the sharing or disclosure of 
2any individual's identity, health, or other personal 
3information, or any information from an individual's record, 
4in connection with the creation or use of the post-secondary 
5mental health database and resource page.
 
 
6    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
7becoming law.
