AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1975




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1975 on page 3, 
3line 9, after "physician,", by inserting "optometrist (if the 
4person qualifies because of a visual disability),"; and


 
5on page 6, line 8, by replacing "(d-7) In" with "(d-7) For 
6taxable years 2021 through 2026, in"; and
 
7on page 6, by replacing lines 12 and 13 with the following:
8"for the exemption and presented proof of eligibility,"; and
 
9on page 6, by replacing lines 15 through 18 with the following:
10"application as required under subsection (d) above. A chief 
11county assessment officer shall not"; and
 
12on page 6, by replacing lines 20 and 21 with the following:
13"if: the physician, advanced practice registered nurse, 
14optometrist, or physician assistant who examined the claimant
