AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1976 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1976 by replacing 
3line 25 on page 12 through line 2 on page 13 with the 
4following:


5        "(u-6) To appoint a point of contact person who shall

6    receive suggestions, complaints, or other requests to the

7    Department from visitors to Department institutions or

8    facilities and from other members of the public, and to 
9    provide, at every visiting waiting area, a sign containing 
10    at a minimum the following information in bold block type, 
11    posted in a conspicuous place:
12            (1) a short statement notifying visitors of a 
13        point of contact person to receive suggestions, 
14        complaints, or other requests; and
15            (2) information on how to submit suggestions, 
16        complaints, or other requests to a point of contact 
17        person."; and

2following:
 
3    "Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
4becoming law.".
