SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 

 
735 ILCS 30/25-5-80 new

     Amends the Eminent Domain Act. Provides that quick-take proceedings may be used for a period of no more than 2 years after the effective date by Moultrie County for the acquisition of certain described property for the purpose of replacing a structuring and constructing an associated roadway on Township Road 185A. Effective immediately.

1    AN ACT concerning civil law.
  
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
 
3represented in the General Assembly:
  
 
 
4    Section 5. The Eminent Domain Act is amended by adding 
5Section 25-5-80 as follows:
 
6    (735 ILCS 30/25-5-80 new)
7    Sec. 25-5-80. Quick-take; Moultrie County; Township Road 
8185A.
9    (a) Quick-take proceedings under Article 20 may be used 
10for a period of no more than 2 years after the effective date 
11of this amendatory Act of the  102nd General Assembly by 
12Moultrie County for the acquisition of the following described 
13property for the purpose of replacing a structure and 
14constructing an associated roadway on Township Road 185A:
15        A part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 11, 
16    Township 12 North, Range 6 East of the Third Principal 
17    Meridian located in Moultrie County, Illinois, more 
18    particularly described as follows: 
19        Commencing at the Southeast corner of the said 
20    Northeast Quarter; thence North 88°48'50" West along the 
21    South line of said Northeast Quarter, 966.15 feet to the 
22    point of beginning; thence North 00°09'24" West, 13.14 
23    feet to the centerline of proposed improvement; thence

1    continuing North 00°09'24" West, 30.00 feet to a point 
2    being 30 feet distant measured and perpendicular to the

17    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
18becoming law.
