| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3004 on page 2, |
| 3 | | line 4, after "spaces.", by inserting: "A landlord is not |
| 4 | | prohibited from displaying in or on the tenant's residential |
| 5 | | areas a sign, flag, or other paraphernalia relating to the |
| 6 | | landlord's rental business, including, but not limited to, a |
| 7 | | "For Rent" sign or an advertisement for the landlord's rental |
| 8 | | business.

| 9 | | Section 15. Signage removal. A landlord is prohibited from |
| 10 | | compelling a tenant to remove any sign, flag, or other |
| 11 | | paraphernalia in or on the tenant's residential area. This |
| 12 | | does not include common areas and public spaces.

| 13 | | Section 20. Application of Act. This Act applies to leases |
| 14 | | and rental agreements entered into or renewed after the |
| 15 | | effective date of this Act. Both the landlord and the tenant |
