SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $14,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for grants to the City of Springfield for the Teen Opportunity Zone, North Mansion Block Development and the Mid-Illinois Medical District. Effective Immediately.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $6,000,000, or as much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the City of Springfield to be used for the Teen Opportunity Zone
Section 10. The amount of $6,000,000, or as much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for grants to the City of Springfield to be used for the North Mansion Block Development.
Section 15. The amount of $2,000,000, or as much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Healthcare and Family Services for grants to the City of Springfield to be used for operation expenses in the Mid-Illinois Medical District.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect immediately.
