SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $250,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, from the State Coronavirus Urgent Remediation Emergency Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for the purposes of the Hotel Jobs Recovery Grant Program, as allowed under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and any associated federal guidance. Effective July 1, 2022.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $250,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the State Coronavirus Urgent Remediation Emergency Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for the Hotel Jobs Recovery Grant Program, as allowed under Section 9901 of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and any associated federal guidance.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2022.
