SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes various appropriations. Effective July 1, 2022.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Article 1
Section 5. The sum of $598,138,100, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for Early Childhood Education.
Article 2
Section 5. The sum of $7,720,300, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for grants and administrative costs associated with the Parents Too Soon program.
Section 10. The sum of $10,890,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for grants and administrative costs associated with the Healthy Families Illinois program.
Section 15. The sum of $19,622,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for grants and administrative costs associated with Teen Responsibility, Education, Achievement, Caring, and Hope (Teen REACH) after-school programs.
Section 20. The sum of $3,030,499,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for grants and administrative costs associated with the Child Care Assistance Program.
Section 25. The amount of $14,373,600, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Human Services from the General Revenue Fund for grants and administrative expenses associated with the Redeploy Illinois program.
Article 3
Section 5. The sum of $529,566,200, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Illinois Student Assistance Commission from the General Revenue Fund for grant awards to students eligible for the Monetary Award Program, as provided by law, and for agency administrative and operational costs not to exceed 2 percent of the total appropriation in this Section.
Article 4
Section 5. The sum of $45,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for grants and administrative costs associated with after-school programming.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2022.
