SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Robert "Bob" Logsdon Sr. of Silvis, 
4who passed away on January 9, 2021; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Bob Logsdon was born to Paul and Margaret (Smet) 
6Logsdon in Moline on May 29, 1931; he married Joyce Gower on 
7February 20, 1952, and they had three children together; he 
8was a U.S. Navy veteran; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Bob Logsdon was a railroad officer for the former 
10Rock Island Lines, retiring after 32 years of service; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Bob Logsdon enjoyed playing golf, bowling, 
12watching football, and being with his family; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Bob Logsdon was preceded in death by his parents; 
14his infant sister, Patricia; and the love of his life, Irma 
15DeRammelaere; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Bob Logsdon is survived by his children, Gail 
17Brosmer,  Robert Logsdon Jr., and Timothy Logsdon; his many 
18grandchildren; his great-grandchildren; and his sister, 
19Jacqueline Boudreau; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Robert "Bob" Logsdon Sr. and extend our sincere condolences to 
4his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Bob Logsdon as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
