| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of James K. "Jim" Sigler of Moline, who |
| 4 | | passed away on January 3, 2021; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jim Sigler was born in Keota, Iowa to George |
| 6 | | "Verle" and Agnes (Snyder) Sigler on December 19, 1942; he |
| 7 | | served in the U.S. Navy; he married Beverly Strohman in |
| 8 | | Sigourney, Iowa on July 17, 1965; he earned his bachelor's |
| 9 | | degree from St. Ambrose College in Davenport, Iowa; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Jim Sigler worked at International Harvester |
| 11 | | Farmall and Navistar for 30 years until he retired in 1994; he |
| 12 | | worked for the Moline School District for seven years until he |
| 13 | | retired in 2002; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Jim Sigler was a member of Sacred Heart Church in |
| 15 | | Moline and the Friends Circle Club in Moline; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Jim Sigler was preceded in death by his sisters, |
| 17 | | Annie, Bonnie, Joyce, Carol, Georgia, and Cindy, and his |
| 18 | | brothers, Harold, Darold, Raymond, Thomas, Donald, and Robert; |

| 20 | | WHEREAS, Jim Sigler is survived by his wife, Bev; his |
